Our story
It started with the blooms in my grandparents’ gardens that amazed me as a child. The beauty of the dark purple bearded iris, the large blooms of the amaryllis, the delicate tendrils of clematis vines were truly awe inspiring to a young child. The wonder of flowers was reignited years later as I was looking through a book filled with the most beautiful flowers, and further deepened as I listened to a grower speak about the simple desire of flowers to live—a sentiment that struck a chord with me like never before.
With the support of my family, I have worked diligently to revive a neglected plot of land overrun with locust trees and briars to create a haven of joy, beauty, and tranquility. My vision of an area filled with an array of flowers, trees, shrubs, and a sanctuary for pollinators, providing locally grown flowers for events, bouquets, and workshops in a space that's open to all is slowly taking shape.
